A typical consultation will involve a discussion around your (or your child’s) usual diet and any concerns you have. We will possibly check weight and height. Parents are welcome to bring Child Health books to make this stage easier. Once all relevant information has been discussed, Sarah will then develop a management plan. This may include a meal plan or meal ideas.
Medicare rebates are available for individuals who have chronic conditions and are being cared for by a Treatment Care Plan through their GP. You can ask your GP if you qualify for this program.
We are registered providers with all major health funds, which means that you may be able to claim a rebate through your health fund depending on your level of extras cover. Rebates vary between health funds so it is best to contact your health fund to determine what your rebate will be. Payment Methods HICAPS facilities are available and payment can be made by cash, credit card (VISA/Mastercard) or EFTPOS. Payment on the day of consultation is appreciated.
24 business hours’ notice is required for any cancellations. This allows an opportunity for others to have your appointment time. Sessions cancelled on the day of the appointment, but prior to the appointment are charged fifty per cent of the session fee. Sessions missed without any prior notice of cancellation are charged the full fee.
