Sarah Smith
Bayside Dietetics is owned and run by Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist Sarah Smith.
Sarah has a strong and diverse experience base including 15 years at Monash Children’s Hospital providing services to children with dietary issues relating to growth, gut disorders, disabilities, nutritional deficiencies, food intolerances and weight concerns.
Sarah has a particular interest in eating disorders and established the dietetic program at the Butterfly Eating Disorder Day Program for individuals with eating disorders. She has completed research into nutritional recovery from an eating disorder.
Sarah has also continued to work with adults an is particularly interested in emotional eating, non-diet weight management and gut disorders including irritable bowel syndrome and the FODMAPs approach.
Sarah enjoys helping everyone address their specific food concerns in an individualised and manageable way. She never tires of providing freedom and energy to those who have been in discomfort or restricted by their food issues.

Tilly Bissett
Tilly comes to Bayside Dietetics as a highly sought after specialist in the treatment and recovery of eating disorders, with a particular focus on young people and their families. With years of experience and training in nutrition and mental health, she provides holistic, personalised care that fosters healing and long-term recovery. Tilly has a compassionate approach and works closely with clients and their families to develop sustainable eating patterns and address the underlying issues contributing to disordered eating.
Understanding the unique challenges faced by young individuals, Tilly creates a safe and supportive environment where their voices are heard and valued. By involving families in the treatment process, she aims to build a strong support system that promotes resilience and positive change. Whether through individual sessions, family counselling, or support groups, her goal is to support you every step of the way on your journey to recovery.

Georgia Patterson
What Georgia does best is bring expertise in gut disorders and weight management to fostering a healthy relationship with food and body. Her approach is rooted in balance, sustainability and enjoyment of food.
Working across both private and public healthcare settings has given her a practical understanding of the challenges people face when it comes to food, from managing busy lifestyles and persistent gut symptoms, to navigating long-term patterns of dieting and uncertainty around what to eat.
Her sessions provide a calm, supportive space where she works collaboratively to understand individual needs, identify barriers to change, and develop sustainable strategies without strict rules or reliance on willpower. She strives to ensure clients feel heard and understood, while fostering long-term health, performance, and comfort with food.
